The “Bat Tower” on Sugarloaf Airport Road, was originally built to be a home to bats that were imported to eat mosquitos.  A great idea except for one small problem… the bats would not live in their man-made home.  And now it is just a curiosity for visitors to see while they ponder their own great ideas.
